Classes

There are three classes: The Young Solar-, VT- and the V20-class.

In the Young Solar class, young students within the age of 14 and 17 years old, make their own one-design class boat. By learning how they can build a solar boat they get in a funny way in contact with technology, innovation, sustainability and create enthusiasm for technology. Speeds may be able to reach 19 km per hour.

The V20 class is a unit class, the boats are uniform in appearance. However, they can distinguish themselves among others in the control and hydrofoils. Speeds may be able to reach more than 30 km per hour.

In the VT-class participants have within the framework all freedom. They take care of their own boat, solar panels and drive. Speeds may thereby increase to more than 50 km per hour.
